About This Project

This beautiful beach house situated in the seaside suburb of Hampton has all the attributes of a dream family home. Expanding on the existing pool, we bring a fresh, new lease of life into the landscape, and now the home has a dream outdoor space to complete the property both inside and out.

Dealing with existing structural elements, we pull the outdoor space back to its bones and create a stunning entertaining space. The clean, contemporary design balances well with the existing home architecture, highlighted with a fire pit nook, outdoor BBQ bench, pizza oven, bar and open fire place. This space really allows you to settle in for the evening, a spot which is both functional and aesthetically stunning.

With a palette of natural tones (consisting of concretes, timbers, existing red brickwork and lush planting), the design draws your eye out across the new Alfresco and towards the revitalised pool. Boasting its fresh new look, the pool retains a similar layout, but now provides ample room to relax, soak, and unwind. The landscape is completed with hard surfaces which provide a balance between the lush greenery of the lawn and foliage.

The success of creating an equilibrium of the layout of the exisiting space, with the addition of the modern, stylish design elements around the landscape, ensure the enhancement of everyday living at home, and provide a sanctuary for all the family to enjoy throughout the seasons.
