About This Project

Capturing all the lifestyle that this stunning Bayside suburb has on offer, our Brighton project has been brought to life with a modern garden, with thoughtful and clever detailing, a vision for the family to occupy for decades to come.

Entering from the street, mottled grey limestone paving pads trickle across to include soft planting in a palette of bright green, silver and white. The pavers continue into an expansive area suitable for a coffee table and chairs or even a basketball ring to shoot a few hoops. Garden lighting is dotted throughout to highlight and add warmth.
Continuing around the South side of the house are new Design Pine double swing gates in Black, with an exposed aggregate path in Charcoal for a sleek, clean finish, a perfect storage area for bikes or the boat. More Design Pine gates open to the ‘Cool Play’ artificial turf area for the dog run and clothesline nook, keeping things tidy and tucked away.

New planting of hedges and swaying grasses tease us around the corner, over limestone steppers and ground covers, to a revitalised entertaining space. Paving wraps around from the alfresco to both sides of the pool, lifting and lightening the space. An in situ concrete bbq bench is a welcome addition for outdoor dining, aesthetically forming into the new colour theme with burnished grey finish and black joinery and bbq. White powder-coated steel rods add a playful detail as they step down over the bench and become a raised element to the paving level.

The existing pool is a breath of fresh air with new grey ceramic tiles, and glass mosaic tiles added to the spa. In situ concrete floating stairs are staggered up to the spa entry as a stylish and contemporary new feature. 30mm shadows allow space for lighting underneath and are sure to visually impress. A backdrop of black Design Pine timber battens allow other elements in the landscape to pop, including the textural silver grasses.

Past the spa, large Anston concrete steppers with ground covers highlight one more area to sit with a cold drink and relax in the sun.

This property has become more than just a home – it now boosts a bespoke and contemporary garden, balancing a beautifully designed inside/outside space, and is a picture-perfect retreat from the chaos of city living.
